Joel Ellis - President/Chief Executive Officer

Originally joining Physical Therapy Practice Builders as Vice President of Consulting Services in 2003, Joel brings over 20 years of experience in strategic healthcare marketing planning to his role as President/Chief Executive Officer. Joel's marketing expertise includes almost every medical specialty, dentistry and physical therapy. As President/Chief Executive Officer of Physical Therapy Practice Builders, Joel is responsible for establishing the company's vision and managing a staff of several dozen marketing communications professionals to align themselves accordingly and ensure the best possible experience for a Physical Therapy Practice Builders client. Joel is also charged with ensuring that Physical Therapy Practice Builders maintains its position as the nation's leader in private practice healthcare marketing. This is accomplished not only by the effective management of the entire Physical Therapy Practice Builders team, but also by establishing and maintaining alliances with multiple company divisions and other strategic partners. Joel received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Wyoming.

Nina Grant - Vice President, Client Service

Nina Grant

As a member of Practice Builder’s team since 1997, Nina's extensive health care marketing experience includes expertise in health care practice management, managed care, hospital and medical group marketing, and continuing medical education marketing. Her role at Physical Therapy Practice Builders includes oversight of all service line development and management to ensure client success. This includes oversight of our extensive advertising agency, which includes branded collateral and ad campaigns, internet marketing, training, media, market research, public relations, and consulting. Additionally, Nina oversees corporate relations, as it links to alignments with medical device, equipment, pharmaceutical and practice management strategic alliance development. Nina received her undergraduate degree in health care management from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and Graduate Business Education from the prestigious Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University's Health Care Marketing MBA Program.

Ron Morgan - Senior Director of Client Services

Ron Morgan

Ron Morgan has nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare, spanning everything from inside sales and account management to marketing consulting. His interest in healthcare marketing developed during his time at Cal State University-Long Beach, where Ron was an art major specializing in biomedical illustration. Since joining Practice Builders in 1994, Ron has consulted with thousands of healthcare practices, doctors, dentists and physical therapists and personally overseen the development of nearly 1,500 marketing campaigns. Today, Ron oversees the entire account management team at Practice Builders and continues to consult on all aspects of each client’s marketing program – from strategic planning to creative development and tactical implementation – all in an effort to ensure each client’s success.

Howard Edgar - Senior Director of Creative Services

Howard Edgar

Howard Edgar has more than 35 years of experience in marketing and creative development. He began his career as a copywriter with a Madison Avenue ad agency, then entered the medical world as a senior writer and video producer for medical rehabilitation and fitness equipment manufacturer Cybex. During that time, he wrote extensively about health and fitness-related issues for many physicians and physical therapists. In 1998, he joined Physical Therapy Practice Builders as a copywriter. Howard has also written weekly opinion columns and covered health, politics, crime, medical and environmental issues as an investigative reporter and columnist for two Florida-based newspapers. The recipient of over 50 writing, inspirational and leadership awards, including Writer’s Digest awards for screenwriting and short-story writing, Howard is also the author of two non-fiction self-help books. Howard received his bachelor’s degree in English and Fine Arts from Clemson University.
